Rolling out the welcome mat: A little introduction

 Hello everyone,

My name is Olabisi but everyone calls me Bisi except my parents of course,  I am a lawyer who provides legal services in the financial industry. Though it was a fascinating and challenging job, I realized that to excel in the financial services industry, I needed to broaden my skill set. This led me to venture into studying Business management.

One principle I hold dear is that leadership is important for the success of any company. Effective leadership can steer a company toward greatness, while the lack of it can bring even the most robust organization down. Does this remind anyone of  Silicon Valley Bank? This is one of the reasons I strive to improve my leadership skills by reading, mentoring and reflecting on past experiences. Personal growth should be a daily aspiration and every day I work towards becoming a better leader than I was the day before.

I aspire to be a decision-maker in a C-suite position within the financial industry.
